WATCH: The Devil Wears Prada
I watched this movie for the first time with my wife. I have often thought that if I did not pursue Comics I would have liked to pursue fashion design. This film begs the same question as Whiplash and Tick Tick Boom. What will you give to be the best? I’ll go deeper in my Philosophical rant. In short, the movie is good and I enjoyed it.
LISTEN: Powerline
At MomoCon, there was a booth a few aisles down that was playing some Powerline songs, and it took me back. Powerline is a fictional band that is clearly a rendition of Michael Jackson from the Goofy Movie. They may be fictional, but the songs are noice!

This 6-issue miniseries from Dan Panosian tells the story of a dad and son caught up in a boxing, gambling, money laundering criminal underworld of Las Vegas. the story is well told and the art is dynamic. Definitely worth a read.
PLAY: Knight and Dragon
Despite the Meme above, I love playing Knight and Dragon with my son. I recently gave him a hand-me-down set of play armor from my childhood and he loves suiting up to fight the dragon. Sometimes he underestimates his bludgeoning damage abilities; but that’s why we play, so that he can learn his limits.
I’m going to keep this brief for now, and I will write more on my Patreon in the full rant, but I wanted to say, take care of yourself.
I am a dad of 3 kids and constantly in the grind. I fear that I am not able to take time off because I have to provide for my family, but at the same time, I need to rest to be at my best in order to provide.
The point: Rest
Since the baby has arrived I have still worked pretty much every day for an hour or two. but I started to hit a wall and my wife insisted that I take a morning nap. This ended up being the best thing for me and has reinvigorated me to get a lot done during the kids nap time in the afternoon.
